Healthy Classroom Party Ideas for Student Wellness
Classroom celebrations have long been a tradition of cupcakes, cookies, chips, and/or candy. These special occasions can fit school Wellness Policies by including healthy choices. Fresh fruit and vegetable trays w/low-fat dip, whole grain cookies and crackers, and baked chips are healthy additions to these festivities. The continuous presentation of healthy foods during classroom celebrations give students the opportunity to make healthy food choices and ultimately acquire good eating habits.
